About
Nikki has a strong background both as a clinician and an administrator. A Brigham Young University graduate, she began her career providing school and home based services for children with autism and other developmental delays. She joined Malama Pono as a Behavior Technician (BT) and has since served in a variety of roles including Floor Supervisor, Scheduling Department Manager and now Chief Operations Officer.
Serving Malama Pono as COO, Nikki works tirelessly to ensure the organization delivers high quality services and maintains an ethical and value driven focus.

Advice for someone starting in the field
The work we do can be tough at times but is extremely rewarding. As with any new job, there is a bit of a learning curve so don’t get discouraged, keep moving forward and just take things one day at a time. You will get to see the changes you make in the lives of the children you work with and their families and it is a wonderful feeling!
